Coffee is a common topic and social drink in business activities. This time, the coffee salon Leshan was fortunate enough to invite Yvonne of Ruiqi Coffee and two of her colleagues to explain the charm of hand-made coffee.
 
 
The history of pour-over coffee
 
Ms.Yvonne introduces us to the source of pour-over coffee:  pour-over coffee was first invented by Ms. Melita of Germany in the early 20th century. At that time, she was making coffee at home, unexpectedly using her son's blotting paper as a filter paper, putting coffee powder in the filter paper, and pouring water into the coffee powder with a kettle, extracting a cup of coffee that tastes different than before. Ms. Melita designed and produced a pour-over coffee appliance, which spread throughout the world. In addition, Ms. Yvonne also mentioned coffee etiquette: when someone handed him coffee, he should say thank you with a smile; don’t blow coffee with his mouth for cooling, stir with a coffee spoon;

When drinking coffee, also pay attention to etiquette: try not to make any sound. After drinking, put the cup on the table gently without making a sound; if you are eating Western food, you must wait for the meal to drink.

Then Ms.Yvonne and everyone focused on the basic operation of the pour-over coffee appliance, and introduced how to make delicious pour-over coffee through simple appliances such as temperature control pots, filter cup sets, electronic scales, and hand grinders. After the explanation, the interactive session begins. Participants are actively participating in it as a salesman, and are eager to experience being a "Master Coffee Master".

Little coffee has great skills, and the instructor explains everything from the selection of coffee beans to brewing to tasting. The quality of the filter paper will determine whether the coffee has any smell; carefully control the flow of brewing water to wash out the original taste of the coffee; even when drinking coffee, you must use the taste of the tongue to feel the taste, in order to enjoy the aroma.

Yvonne reminded us that if we want to add sugar, do not directly throw it into the cup with their hands, use a coffee spoon to gently put the sugar in, and then slowly stir, and be careful not to crush the sugar in the cup.

Although everyone is trying for the first time, under the careful guidance of the instructor, everyone successfully brewed a delicious coffee and shared it with each other.

In the end, Mr. Guo brought out his treasured treasure, Indonesian Civet coffee, which brought surprises to everyone.
